2. Choose the right size

To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head. From the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline.
Measuring the size of the wig head circumference.
From the forehead through the size of the circle above the two ears to the back of the head.
The distance from the top of the ear to the top of the head to the top of the ear.

3. Choose the right wig hat

The next thing to consider is what types of wig hat suit you best. There are three types of wig hat: mechanical wig, a Front lace wig, and a Full lace wig.
Full Lace Wigs are lace wigs. The entire wig hat is handmade with lace.
Lace Front Wig has only lace in the front of the wig, and the rest of the wig is made up of an ordinary mesh wig cap.
Mechanism wig: refers to the product that the whole headgear is used to machine the hair on the cap. A mechanical wig is heavier and less breathable.

4. Choose the right color

Hair color

Choose a color that matches your natural hair as it gives the illusion that hair is growing from your scalp. Most people have shades of color and gradients throughout their hair. Suppose you can't find the color of your wig. Look for a wig that is a ‘blend’ of two colors. Or ask a stylist to give your wig highlights and lowlights two shades away from the wig’s base color.

Color of skin

Consider choosing a wig with a match between skin tones. Dark skin selects dark color hair, light complexion selects light color hair. If you want to look natural, you can choose some common colors.

DIY a natural look

You can make some changes to make your wig more beautiful and natural. In the beginning, you may want to stick close to a style you're familiar with. As you get used to wearing wigs, you can make a more radical change.
Visit a professional stylist to trim your wig to give it a look that complements the shape of your face. Or you can watch a video and try it yourself. This move will not only give you a unique attractive look but will also make your wig look more natural.

Treat your hairline

Working with a perfect hairline will make your wig look natural. You can align the wig with your hairline. Or by placing your wig behind your hairline, especially for pulled back styles. By exposing your hairline, you can achieve the perfect natural hairline. You can choose your own method according to your own preferences and habits.

Take good care of your wig

How you take care of your wig will determine how natural it will look.  Without proper care, wigs can smell weird and curl, giving an unnatural feeling. You can follow the instructions when taking care of wigs. You should be able to take care of your wig with conditioner, shampoo, and styling products that fit your wig.

Change wigs when appropriate

The life cycle of wigs is generally 3-6 months, and good care can reach 6-12 months. You can replace it after 6 months and 12 months for a human hair wig. Changing wigs when appropriate makes you look natural. And makes it hard for people to notice that you're wearing a wig.
Or you can buy more wigs you like and change them often. Don't use the same wig all the time. This will not only keep you looking natural and beautiful but also extend the life of the wig
