It has not been exposed to any kind of harsh agents and the cuticles all still have to be intact and running the same direction. Virgin hair is also much easier to color hair that doesn’t already have dye on it.

Characteristics of Virgin hair:

1. No chemical treatment

5. Can acquire hot

What is Remy Hair?

Remy Hair is gathered from the head of donors/producers in such a way as to keep the hair’s cuticles properly aligned to its neighboring hairs. Remy Hair is not necessarily virgin hair, since it may be colored or permed. Remy Hair is 100% human hair, and all the hairpieces are in the same direction. The cuticle is slightly damaged because it is treated with high steam and acid. But it doesn’t affect the hair quality and use. It still can be dyed, bleached, permed and restyled.

4. Can acquire hot

What is Non-Remy hair?

Non-Remy hair is human hair that is collected from multiple sources. Non-Remy hair is collected from the floor of temples, salons, and random suppliers. With this type of collection method, cuticle directions become mixed, causing inevitable shedding, tangling and matting problems. Since the cuticle runs in both directions it requires a higher concentration of acid. Eventually resulting in hair with very low moisture, leading to dry straw-like hair.

What is the difference between Virgin Hair and Remy Hair?
